In addition, federal regulations prohibit the use of genetically engineered seed for organic farming. All cotton sold as organic in the United States must meet strict federal regulations covering how the cotton is grown.
How do I sew organic knit fabric?
As with all knits, a ballpoint needle is a must. A serger is not required as organic cotton knit fabrics won't ravel. A rotary cutter or sharp scissors will work for cutting your fabric.
